Aaron F. Barkoff, Ph.D.
Aaron Barkoff specializes in pharmaceutical patent litigation. He has extensive experience in pre-filing investigations, discovery, trial, and appeals. In addition, he conducts freedom-to-operate analyses, prepares legal opinions on noninfringement and invalidity, and provides advice on FDA regulatory matters. He also has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and organic chemistry.
Dr. Barkoff is especially interested in issues at the intersection of patent and FDA law, such as those arising in ANDA litigation. In May 2006, he started Orange Book Blog, a website that reports on new developments in pharmaceutical patent law and FDA law.
