Gary E. Hood
Gary E. Hood is an experienced trial attorney. He has more than a decade of experience successfully litigating all types of cases, including intellectual property suits, general civil and business disputes, and criminal matters. His practice now focuses on trial and appeal of cases involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related federal and state claims, as well as strategic IP counseling. A tested and proven courtroom advocate, Mr. Hood represents a broad array of clients, ranging from individuals and small businesses to large multinational companies. His clients span a broad spectrum of industries as well, ranging from consumer electronics, to agriculture, to medical devices and methods, to automotive parts and accessories.
Mr. Hood is a requested presenter in a variety of forums, including the Intellectual Property Owners Association, World Trade Center Tacoma, Pacific Lutheran University, and the University of Puget Sound.
Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Hood served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He is an avid competitive swimmer.
