A. Blair Hughes has considerable experience advising clients about intellectual property matters and, in particular, patent and trademark issues. Blair has worked extensively with clients to develop and implement patenting strategies - from performing patent landscape analyses and product clearance studies to ultimately assisting clients with identifying and obtaining patents and trademarks encompassing critical technologies in the U.S. and abroad. Companies with wide-ranging technologies such as circuit board and IC manufacturing, environmental sciences, polymers, and medical, chemical, pharmaceutical, and biological technologies rely upon Blair to help them reach their intellectual property and business goals. He also counsels clients regarding patent validity, infringement, and licensing issues; and he represents clients in patent infringement litigation.
