Robert J. Irvine III
Robert J. Irvine III has more than fifteen years of experience in intellectual property procurement and client counseling in the electronic arts. He has represented a wide range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to individual inventors in litigation and licensing matters relating to inventions of an electrical nature. Mr. Irvine has an extensive background in telecommunications, with expertise in areas such as analog and digital communications, digital signal-processing techniques, modulation schemes, and coding techniques. He also has a wide range of experience in technologies such as probability theory, information theory, data mining, cryptography, analog and digital circuits, semiconductor structures, and network protocols.
Mr. Irvine also has considerable experience representing clients for their inventions in the financial services, systems, and products area, including trading systems and electronic infrastructure, investment vehicles, and investment company structures, as well as insurance methods, products, and systems. He is also a registered arbitrator for the National Futures Association.
Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Irvine was senior intellectual property counsel for a medium-sized networking company. He has also worked as a research engineer in a Fortune 100 telecommunications company.
He is co-inventor of U.S. Patent No. 5,121,414, entitled "Carrier Frequency Offset Equalization."
