Paul A. Kafadar is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Mr. Kafadar's concentration is in patent procurement and enforcement. His litigation experience covers a wide range of technologies, including graphical user interfaces, sports simulation software, music streaming software, and consumer products. Mr. Kafadar also assists clients in developing strategies to maximize the value of their patent portfolios. In addition, he prepares and prosecutes patent applications and provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement and patentability analyses in the areas of electrical engineering, computing, and telecommunications.
While attending Northwestern University School of Law, Mr. Kafadar was a teaching assistant for Communication and Legal Reasoning, where he helped students develop their legal writing skills.
Prior to law school, Mr. Kafadar was a co-op with Advance Transformer Co. His work included software and web development.
