Richard W. Martin is an associate with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Dr. Martin practices in several aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, counseling and litigation. His focus is in the areas of biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.
Before joining MBHB, Dr. Martin served as a technical advisor with two prominent patent litigation practices. In that role he defended his clients’ intellectual property rights to biopharmaceuticals, small molecules, transgenic animal models, vaccines, and ethylene polymers. Dr. Martin’s litigation experience includes fact and expert discovery as well as trial proceedings.
