Michelle L. McMullen-Tack, Ph.D.
Michelle L. McMullen-Tack's practice comprises patent procurement, patent enforcement, and client counseling, with a special emphasis in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biotechnology, and biochemical arts. Dr. McMullen-Tack's counseling experience includes rendering client-requested opinions on patent validity, infringement, and clearance. She represents pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, both large and small, as well as university clients and start-ups. Her litigation experience has encompassed a range of topics, from pharmaceuticals and diagnostics to business methods.
Dr. McMullen-Tack's scientific research and publications were in the field of molecular endocrinology. With the use of a transgenic mouse model, she was able to examine the role of the hormone inhibin in ovarian function, female fertility, and ovarian cancer.
