Hersh H. Mehta is an associate with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Mr. Mehta has extensive experience in the intellectual property field, particularly in patent procurement. He has prepared and prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications in a broad range of technologies, including biometrics, cellular networks, cloud computing, cryptography, futures trading, liquid crystal displays, medical filtration systems, pillows, processors, robotics, syringes, tires, transmissions and vehicle interior technology.
Mr. Mehta has prepared opinions addressing validity, infringement, and freedom to practice. He has also conducted proceedings of reissue and reexamination applications. Mr. Mehta’s litigation experience includes researching, drafting motions and assisting in preparing Markman briefs.
Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Mehta was a patent agent at firms in Illinois, Michigan, and Virginia. He was also an engineer at Chrysler and Pall Life Sciences.
