Rory P. Shea is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Mr. Shea practices in all areas of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation and patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of electrical engineering, computer software and hardware, and telecommunications. He has experience in all phases of patent litigation, including discovery, motion practice, claim construction, trial, and appeal. Mr. Shea's practice also includes patentability, validity, and infringement analyses, as well as client counseling with respect to the procurement of all types of intellectual property rights.
Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Shea was a field application engineer at Panduit Corporation, where he provided engineering support to customers and sales personnel, assisted with the modeling, design, and development of telecommunication connectors, and developed test methods for manufacturing facilities in foreign countries.
