Erick K. Hasegawa is a law clerk with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Mr. Hasegawa conducts legal research and provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement and patentability analyses, and prosecution matters in the computing and electrical engineering areas.
Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Hasegawa worked as a Senior Product Marketing Engineer for Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where he marketed capacitive sensing technology for human interface devices using programmable system-on-chip (PSoC) solutions. Mr. Hasegawa also integrated other technologies such as memory (SRAMs, Dual-Port SRAMs, MoBL Dual-Ports, and Synch SRAMs), image sensing technology, and USB controllers for various consumer applications. Mr. Hasegawa often visited customers in Japan, using his fluency in Japanese to present new product roadmaps, safeguard existing designs from competitors, and support business relationships. Mr. Hasegawa also worked with Japanese designers to integrate Cypress solutions in their designs, provide feedback to Cypress product development groups and design teams, and present business opportunities to the CEO and executive staff.
