Nicole E. Grimm is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Ms. Grimm concentrates her practice on intellectual property matters, including patent procurement and enforcement in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals areas. Her litigation experience also includes trade dress, copyright, and unfair competition. In addition, she prepares and prosecutes patent applications, conducts freedom to operate and patent landscape analyses, and counsels clients on patent, trademark, and copyright issues.

Prior to joining MBHB, Ms. Grimm was a research technologist at The Johns Hopkins University and a biological lab technician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Ms. Grimm served as an intern for the Honorable Martin P. Welch, Chief Judge, 8th Judicial Circuit at the Baltimore City Circuit Court while in law school.

Ms. Grimm currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of snippets and a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. Ms. Grimm also helped form a Canna-IP practice group to address the intellectual property needs in this emerging market.
