Paula S. Fritsch is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP and serves as Chair of the firm’s Trade Secrets Practice Group. Dr. Fritsch has experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on litigating and counseling clients on patent, trade secret, and unfair competition issues. She has litigated matters in numerous forums, including jury and bench trials in federal district courts, appeals before the Federal Circuit, and proceedings in the International Trade Commission. Dr. Fritsch’s litigation experience spans a diverse range of technologies, with a concentration in matters involving pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices.
In addition to her litigation practice, Dr. Fritsch also renders opinions regarding the validity, enforceability, and noninfringement of patent rights. She has also prepared and prosecuted patent applications for a variety of different matters in the United States and abroad in the areas of biochemistry and molecular biology.
