Scott M. Dyar, Ph.D. is a patent agent with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Dr. Dyar provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement, and patentability analysis in the biotechnology, chemical, mechanical and materials, and pharmaceutical and diagnostics areas.
Prior to joining MBHB, Dr. Dyar was a graduate researcher at Northwestern University. Dr. Dyar worked in organic and physical chemistry developing expertise in organic synthesis, computational chemistry, and advanced spectroscopy techniques. He is experienced in the construction and maintenance of high-performance computing clusters and laser instruments. Dr. Dyar collaborated extensively with researchers in fields including biology, materials science, and inorganic chemistry.
