MBHB announces new partners and senior patent agents

Full-service intellectual property law firm MBHB recently elected two new income partners and promoted three practitioners to senior patent agents.  

Mateusz (“Matt”) Kulesza and Alexandra (“Alex”) MacKenzie were promoted to income partners with the firm.  

Matt Kulesza specializes in helping clients in the machine learning, enterprise software, autonomous vehicle and robotics industries to broadly protect their innovations by developing patent strategies and preparing and prosecuting patent applications. He earned a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Harvard University.  

Alex MacKenzie supports clients in the electrical, mechanical, telecommunications and computer science industries, throughout all phases of U.S. and international patent prosecution as well as intellectual property litigation. She earned a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University.

Jeffrey Anderson, Ph.D., David Grabelsky, Ph.D. and Megan Petti, Ph.D. were promoted to senior patent agents.  

Jeffrey Anderson focuses in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceutical, chemical and medical device and diagnostics. He earned a doctorate in biochemistry from Northwestern University.  

David Grabelsky specializes in the areas of electrical engineering, computer networking and telecommunications. He earned a doctorate in astronomy from Columbia University.  

Megan Petti focuses her work in the chemical space. She earned a doctorate in analytical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
