What to Expect When You’re Inventing: The Patenting Process

MBHB partner Lisa Schoedel is the featured presenter for an IEEE-sponsored program entitled, “What to Expect When You’re Inventing: The Patenting Process,” set to take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET on October 20, 2014 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Ms. Schoedel will discuss the patenting process from when an inventor has an idea for an invention to when the patent office issues a patent. Specifically, she will describe what the inventor should expect during each of the stages of the patenting process: (1) documenting the invention; (2) filing a patent application; (3) working with the patent office; and (4) patent issuance.
