Ms. Williams is a seasoned patent attorney in the firm’s Mechanical & Materials Practice Group, known for delivering strategic, business-focused patent counsel. She advises clients on all aspects of utility and design patent preparation and prosecution in the U.S. and internationally, helping protect innovations that drive competitive advantage. Ms. Williams earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. With a background in general engineering, she effectively protects her clients’ innovations across a wide range of technologies. In addition to her client work, she is actively engaged in mentoring, is Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Group, and plays a meaningful role in the firm’s diversity & inclusion initiatives, reflecting her commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive professional community.
Mr. Scurry leverages over 10 years of experience as a patent practitioner and a background in electrical engineering to prepare and prosecute patents for clients in the software, electrical, and telecommunications sectors. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and has managed hundreds of patent applications for technologies ranging from microelectronics to virtual reality. His practice is complemented by a dedicated pro bono portfolio and extensive civil litigation experience in state and federal courts, up to the Texas Supreme Court.
