McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP (“MBHB”), a Chicago-based intellectual property (IP) law firm, is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2022 Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Fellowship: YuKai Bao, Joshua Lustig, and Jie Yang.
The Fellowship was established to strengthen diversity and inclusion within MBHB and, more generally, throughout the field of intellectual property law. It provides an opportunity for 1L and 2L students from an ABA-accredited law school to participate in the firm’s summer associate program and receive a $10,000 scholarship for law school tuition or other school-related expenses. Upon completion of law school, fellows who accept full-time associate positions with MBHB will be eligible to receive an additional $10,000 award. Furthermore, MBHB reimburses up to $1,000 of the recipients pre-approved travel, meal, and/or registration expenses that are associated with activities related to promoting and/or educating them about D&I topics in IP law.
