Christian Karpinski supports clients in the mechanical, electrical, and materials industries through all phases of patent prosecution. Drawing on his academic background in mechanical engineering, Mr. Karpinski provides counsel on intellectual property strategy related to various technologies, including:

His work encompasses all facets of intellectual property strategy, including patent prosecution, landscape and patentability analyses, and noninfringement and invalidity opinions.

Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Karpinski earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University. He began his professional career as a Mechanical Engineer at CNH Industrial, gaining valuable business experience, budget insight, and technical expertise in product design, testing, development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, including working on tractor control systems. He also gained significant experience at Siemens AG, working on gas turbine engine fuel nozzles; Continental Automotive Systems, performing vibration testing; and SMW Autoblok, designing chuck assemblies for tooling and machine applications.

Outside of work, Mr. Karpinski enjoys cycling, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
