The Office of Technology Development (OTD) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s December Carolina Innovations Seminar will feature a discussion around the impact of recent Supreme Court and Federal Circuit Court rulings on university technology transfer. Also highlighted at the session will be the key impacts of the America Invents Act on UNC inventors, who will want to note important changes to patent law–especially with a number of changes scheduled to occur in March 2013.
