McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff Partner Paul Berghoff has been selected to receive the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (“IPO”) 2011 President’s Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership and dedication to the IPO over a substantial period of time. IPO President Doug Norman will present the award during the luncheon at the IPO’s Annual Meeting, set for September 13, 2011 in Los Angeles. Past recipients of the award include John Williamson (2010), Harry Gwinnell (2009), and Gary Griswold (2008). Established in 1972, the IPO is a trade association for owners of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. IPO is the only association in the U.S. that serves all intellectual property owners in all industries and all fields of technology.
