Overview

Joshua Bosman is a senior patent agent with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Dr. Bosman provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement, and patentability analysis in the biotechnology area.

Prior to joining MBHB, Dr. Bosman was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Chicago where he was appointed to the NIH funded Cardiovascular Sciences Training Program. He also served as a discussion facilitator at the University of Chicago in which he conducted small group discussions with medical students on clinical case studies.

Dr. Bosman serves as a TreeKeeper in Chicago as part of the Openlands Project. In doing so, he is certified to plant trees and help maintain the urban forests of Chicago parks and coordinates and instructs other volunteers for habitat restoration projects in Chicago.

Dr. Bosman served as a science fair judge for a number of years in which he evaluated the science projects of students at Lincoln Park High School and Murray Language Academy in Chicago.
