MBHB a Proud Sponsor of 8th Annual Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property Symposium

McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP (MBHB) is proud to be an official Platinum Sponsor of the Eighth Annual Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property (JTIP) Symposium set for March 7-8, 2013. The Symposium is presented by the Northwestern JTIP in conjunction with the Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth. Held in honor of the Tenth Anniversary of JTIP, this year’s Symposium brings together students, academics and practitioners from across the country to discuss legal topics at the forefront of technology and intellectual property.

MBHB partner Jeffrey Armstrong is a co-presenter for a program entitled, “Net Neutrality: Government Overreach or the Key to Innovation?,” set to take place from 8:45-10:15 a.m. on Friday, March 8 in Lincoln Hall.

MBHB associate Christopher Butts is a co-presenter for a program entitled, “The Past, Present, and Future of Social Media,” set to take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8 in Lincoln Hall.

The March 7th session will be held on Northwestern’s Chicago campus in Wieboldt Hall Room #540 located at 340 East Superior Street in downtown Chicago. The March 8th sessions will be held at the Northwestern University School of Law located at 375 East Chicago Avenue in downtown Chicago.

The Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property is among the top ranked intellectual property and technology journals in the country. The Journal addresses subjects relating to intellectual property and the intersection of law and technology and publishes articles on a variety of topics including: copyright, trademark, patents, the Internet, media, telecommunications, health care, antitrust, e-discovery, and trial and litigation technology.
