Thymian appears in a July 19, 2012 NBC 5 Chicago news segment in which he was interviewed regarding preparations for the forthcoming 104th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. Asked by the reporter what it takes to win the race, Mr. Thymian offered up his thoughts on what it would take to prevail. Mr. Thymian and fellow MBHB partner Leif R.
