McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP is proud to be an official sponsor of the 2018 Chicago-Kent Supreme Court IP Review (“SCIPR”). The 2018 Chicago-Kent SCIPR is a conference designed to provide intellectual property practitioners, jurists, legal academics and law students with a review of IP cases from the U.S. Supreme Court’s previous Term, a preview of cases on the docket for the upcoming Term, and a discussion of cert. petitions to watch. The full day conference is set to take place on Friday, September 21 at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago.

MBHB managing partner Grantland Drutchas is the featured moderator for the panel presentation addressing SAS Institute Inc. v. Iancu, which takes place from 9:05-11:00 a.m. MBHB partner Alison Baldwin is a featured panelist for the panel presentation entitled, “Litigating Under the Revised Trial Practice Guidance,” which takes place from 3:45-4:30 p.m.

Instituted more than 20 years ago, IIT Chicago-Kent’s Intellectual Property Law program is one of the strongest in the country. Chicago-Kent was the first U.S. law school to offer a graduate LL.M. program in the study of international Intellectual Property Law, which continues to draw students from Asia, Europe, South America and the United States. As the importance of IP law has expanded, the Chicago-Kent IP program has kept pace, reflecting and anticipating the ever-changing nature and challenges of the contemporary IP field.
