McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP is proud to be an official sponsor of the Ag Biotech Entrepreneurial Showcase 2016 set for 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET on May 18 at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (“NCBC”) in Durham, NC.
North Carolina is the global hub for ag biotech with tremendous commercial and research assets driving the development of new innovations in this sector. It’s the ideal location to convene entrepreneurs, investors, and technology scouts. The Ag Biotech Entrepreneurial Showcase 2016 includes selected entrepreneurs that will vie for one of the cash prizes by showcasing their companies and breakthrough technologies from crop biotech and animal health companies from across the greater Eastern United States. Additional keynote speakers and a panel session will inspire future innovation development and partnerships in the ag biotech industry.
An anticipated 200 attendees from national investment firms, global ag biotech companies, university research, technology transfer offices and support organizations will have the opportunity to connect with one another for information sharing, networking and partnering to facilitate ag biotech growth.
The NC AgBiotech Initiative is part of the NCBC, a private, non-profit corporation supported by the North Carolina General Assembly, helping the life sciences stay connected. They provide long-term economic and societal benefits to North Carolina by supporting biotechnology research, business, education and strategic policy statewide.
