Overview

Jeffrey D. Anderson, Ph.D. provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement, and patentability analysis in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceutical, chemical, and medical device and diagnostics. His background includes a nearly 20-year record of high-quality patent portfolio development that includes 15 years in a primary leadership role.

Prior to joining MBHB, Dr. Anderson oversaw an IP consultancy with clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and tech spectrum. In this role, he managed existing IP portfolios and guided forward IP strategy for portfolio value maximization. Prior to this role, he led the intellectual property department at an immunodiagnostics company utilizing single molecule counting technology and, separately, at a pharmaceutical company focused on retrometabolic drug designing and improving the safety of oral therapies for chronic diseases.

  • Working in-house for a start-up clinical diagnostics company as Director of IP, lead worldwide IP strategy and grew the IP portfolio 2.7x with a 1.2x budget
