McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP is proud to be an official sponsor of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) 2021 Bioscience Start-Up Business Plan Competition. The event, to be held at RFUMS in collaboration with SmartHealth Activator, a bioentrepreneur non-profit educational platform, is set for July 21. MBHB partner Emily Miao, Ph.D. is slated to serve as a panel judge at the event.
RFUMS hopes the event attracts angel investors, venture capitalists and other industry experts. Each company participating in the competition will have the opportunity to showcase their technology through a series of events, such as the Elevator Pitch, Oral Pitch and the Pitch Deck Competition. Throughout the competition, and in collaboration with advisors and mentors, the teams will focus on fine tuning their presentation skills and developing a keen understanding of what it takes to create a successful company so that they can attract clients, investors, and advisors.
